LET ME TAKE THIS MOMENT to greet my lovely cousin, the best radio dj i know (yes i am completely biased), mon, a very happy birthday. if you ever get to read this, i want to thank you for being super nice to me over twitter, for being patient and not unfollowing. i feel like i owe you a lot. the least i could do is talk to you when we see each other in person. i will try, i miss you guys! there should be another family reunion, but considering how big our family is, it’s a challenge to roud everybody up. the next best thing is bumping into you some place else, rockwell, maybe? one day. til that one day comes, here i have cupcakes for you. continue doing what you do, stay awesome, because i can only speak with certainty for myself, though i am sure the rest of the clan shares this sentiment: you make me proud to be your cousin. you make us proud.

Has anyone heard of the off-Broadway show Ordinary Days? I was introduced to this song, “I’ll Be Here”, recently at a revue of off-Broadway songs and it had me on the verge of tears.
This song - and Lisa Brescia’s rendition - is stunning.
